Curve Magazine is Hiring

Curve magazine has an opening for an Associate Editor to begin ASAP.

We're a lesbian magazine, though, so the pay is lower than industry standard so if that's going to be an issue, please don't apply. I don't have wiggle room on the salary. Curve's a fun place to work, with a small 6 person office in an open floor plan in the old Hamm's Brewery Building at 16th & Bryant. The job sometimes requires travel. Our office events (like our annual retreat in August) are family friendly. o Someone looking for a growth opportunity, who can commit to at least a year at the magazine

o A can-do attitude, tireless dedication to lesbian publishing, ferocious attention to deadlines, and the ability to work both solo and as a team

o Or some combination of education and life experience that gives you most of the above

Start Date: ASAP, no later than August 1

Salary: $900 bi-weekly, plus paid health benefits, 1 week vacation, IRA matching plan, and free entry to the hottest concerts, movies and events each month. Note that the first three months are a probationary period that does not include benefits, PTO or holiday pay.
