The Queer Book Expo, Pink Ink, will be held on June 10-11, 2006 at the LGBT Center in the heart of Greenwich Village (208 West 13th Street), New York City.
It's a weekend of book browsing, workshops, panel discussions and readings. Pink Ink participants can sign up in advance to meet privately with a literary agent who will critique cover letters and a section of work. There will be panel discussions on topics such as book promotion and on-line markets and resources for writers, as well as poetry, humor, and erotica.
Modeled after book gatherings such as New York is Book Country, Book Expo America, and others, PINK INK will provide an opportunity for both readers and writers to meet, network, shop, and socialize, all in the context of building support for lesbian and gay authors and increasing awareness of lesbian and gay literature.
