Guidelines for Submissions to Anthology: Chance Encounters: Chance Happenings

If you want to be successful, you must either have a chance or take one.

Chance plays a major role in daily living. Our lives change according to whether or not we took a chance or whether we chose to ignore it. Tell us your story. Real or imagined.

Story length: 2,000-4,000 words,
Style: compelling, strong, humorous, real or imagined.

No previously published stories,
After publication, rights revert back to author,
May submit multiple stories,
Manuscripts will not be returned without an SASE,
Finalists will be notified after the submission deadline has passed.

Each submission must include:
Story title,
Author’s name,
Author’s mailing address,
Author’s phone number,
Author’s email,
Author’s bio,
Word count.

Submissions must be typed in 12 point type.
No electronic submissions.
Stories will be edited as necessary.

Pays 1 contributor’s copy upon publication for one-time rights. Rights revert back to author after publication.

Deadline: January 31, 2007
