Love Gone Wrong Submissions Call

Seeking stories for an anthology of lesbian short fiction on your favorite subject: love gone wrong. Way wrong. Over and done with wrong. Tell me about the girl that got away or ran away. Give me the best of your worst, and we will create something beautiful from the mess.

Entries should be short stories, between 1,000 to 5,000 words, original and previously unpublished.

E-mail your submission to No attachments please. Paste the story into the message window. Also include:

1) a cover letter in the body of the email -- usually a short bio and short list of previous publications, plus author's name, e-mail address and phone number. OK if you don’t have a bio.

2) a short document granting First Serial Rights along these lines:

"My short story "[title of story]" is unpublished; I grant First Serial Rights for publication in an anthology of short fiction.

The plan is to seek a publisher after selecting 15-20 stories for the collection. If unable to find a print publisher, I will self-publish. Initial goal is to publish by the end of 2006.

While there is no payment, you will receive a copy of the book.

Deadline: 6/30/2006
